X – Ray Both Patella LAT & Skyline Axial Views test to visualize the knee cap. Patella is a circular-triangular bone that articulates with the lower end of the femur (thigh bone) and covers the knee joint.

This test is prescribed by the doctor for the diagnosis of any suspected fracture or dislocation of the knee cap (patella).
