X-Ray Left Heel LAT Views is an imaging test that helps detect any potential fractures, dislocations, bone lesions, or degenerative diseases of the left heel. An X-ray is a type of high-energy electromagnetic radiation that gives images of the affected joint. It helps visualize any abnormality with the heel and ankle.

The X-ray is conducted while the patient is sitting with their leg stretched out. X-rays are considered mostly safe but can be dangerous in some cases. Exposure to the radiation can pose a minor risk to the patient. Pregnant women are not allowed to get an X-ray done as there is a small chance that the radiation can harm the baby in the womb.
