X – Ray Right Foot AP & Obl. is an imaging test that helps detect any potential fractures, bone lesions, dislocations or degenerative diseases of the right foot. An X-ray is a type of high-energy electromagnetic radiation that provides images of the affected joint. It helps detect any abnormality with the foot and ankle.

The X-ray is conducted on the patient while the patient is sitting with their leg stretched out. X-rays are considered mostly safe but can be dangerous in some cases.

Exposure to the radiation can pose a minor risk to the patient. Pregnant women are not allowed to get an X-ray done as there is a small chance that the radiation may harm the baby in the womb.
