Test Criteria

X – Ray Both Wrists AP & LAT Views is a test to visualize the eight bones of the wrist joint (known as carpal bones), the lower ends of the forearm bones (radius and ulna), wrist joint, and the soft tissues (skin and muscles) surrounding it.

This test is prescribed by the doctor to diagnose any fracture of the bones of the wrist joint and to monitor the healing of the broken bones after it has been set and diagnose any suspected arthritis or dislocation of the wrist joint.
